Arsis Engulfed within somnolence Submerged within chimera In isolation I wander The beauty of oblivion To the place of my sepulcher Obstructing my path Elegant yet perverse To follow that before me So blindly I durst Visions of all I desire came The penalty for such treasure These gifts I could obtain Like flowers beneath the frost By temptation weakened In your world I could not remain Fantasy was mine to live Anon it was ended I realized not my loss Anon it had begun I awaken after every dusk Never revealed is the sun Now in perpetual somnolence Submerged in chimera In immortal isolation I wander To the fulfilled I am cursed To the place of my sepulcher Elegant yet perverse To the deprived blessed Shall I find my rest? |
